PROGRAM ADVISOR (AFRICA-CANADA)

I am Sandra Adjou Akiremy, social entrepreneur, committed mother, proud founder of AICC (African Identity and Culture Centre) and happy supporter of various causes working for a better world for women and children. Holder of an MBA in International Trade and professional in Supply Chain having lived on several continents, the woman that I am today has been inspired by various female models: my mother, my grandmothers, my sister and many public figures including Maya Angelou. Jeanine Uwingabiye

SECRETARY 

Jeanine Uwingabiye is a Human Resources professional passionate about building meaningful relationships and helping others. She currently resides in Toronto but was born in Rwanda. From a young age, Jeanine has experienced some ‘’bumps in the road’’ but has always been able to find the strength to keep moving forward. One of her Favorite quotes is “If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.” By Martin Luther King Jr. Joining Women of Impact Academy has been a decision driven from passion and purpose but also from personal life experiences. Jeanine thrives to continue being an authentic woman of impact who inspires others, impacting one life at a time. Together we will, Together we can!

 

Tendai Dorothy Appiah

PROJECT MANAGER 

Tendai is a wife, mother of four amazing children and strong advocate for women empowerment. Having grown up in Zambia Central/Southern Africa, Tendai has witnessed firsthand what Impact poverty can have on one reaching their full potential. Therefore, Tendai has partnered with Women of Impact Academy to contribute to the goal of providing resources and necessities to girls so they can get an education. Tendai has a strong program management background and is a committee member for the Women group in her professional organization as well. One of Tendai’s favorite quotes is the famous African proverb “If you educate a man you educate an Individual BUT if you educate a woman, you educate a Nation.”

 

Charlotte Mulongo

My name is Charlotte Mulongo, a Business Administration student, entrepreneur and part-time model. I have been passionate about empowering women from a very young age. I got involved in Women of Impact Academy because my dream is to help women to make a significant impact in different area of society. I want young girls & women to realize their value and the important place they can play in society as well as in the business world.
